Field Service Engineer- Category A

Qualification Criteria:

  • – Associate Engineering degree in Electrical /Electronics/ Power Engineering.
  • – 10 plus years of experience in a related field, or equivalent combinations of education and experience
  • – Hands on Experience in Critical project execution
  • – Hands on Experience in Protection Upgrade
  • – Hands on Experience in Advanced protection relays
  • – Hands on Experience in testing of MV/LV Switchgears and equipment’s

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • – Provide outstanding customer service.
  • – Conduct testing and commissioning of electrical power system equipment’s and advanced protection relays at customer premises.
  • – This Role is accountable for installing, inspecting, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing customer equipment. FSE will maintain, retrofit, and provide technical support for all Client products, both in the plant and on site. Work on competitive equipment may also be part of the role.
  • – Share and provide technical instruction and guidance to Category B Engineer.
  • – Analyze malfunctions in equipment and interpret maintenance manuals, using knowledge of systems and electronics to isolate and correct issues.
  • – FSE must be available to respond to emergency calls and for intervention, maintain0 service equipment, tools, and documentation, and attending emergency calls.
  • – Strict Compliance to SE safety policies and Cyber security Policies and able to prepare the safety documents like Risk assessments, LOTO check list and near miss reports etc.
  • – Understand scope of work, respect time allocation to perform job and ensure full traceability (timesheet, change order etc.)
  • – Prepare/Modify site test procedure and test formats taking into consideration the manufacturer recommendations and applicable standards.
  • – Co-ordinate with customer for entry gate pass, work permit etc.
  • – Verify the installation is carried out as per the approved engineering drawings and manufacturer recommendations.
  • – Perform Preventive, scheduled, and unscheduled Maintenance on equipment.
  • – Escalate quality or technical issue detected on field.
  • – Organize de-mobilization of site and return material back to central stores with documentation.
  • – Prepare and compile the as built installation documentation and cable schedule.
  • – Certification & accreditation could be required vs Business and Country regulations.
  • – Proactive participation to team collective initiatives & management meetings to achieve departmental and company goals (SIM1)
  • – Support planners, coordinators, project manager to get good customer site condition understanding.
  • – Get signature from customer for acceptance after the execution of the on-site work.
  • – Properly document, label, and return all defective parts utilized in the repair of equipment to the designated disposal/repair location.
  • – Assist Clients’ Service Partners in site visits, evaluating technical and professional performance.

Panel Wiring Technician

Qualification Criteria:

  • – Diploma in any Electrical domain
  • – 3 years of experience in electrical panel wiring and control cable terminations.
  • – Knowledge of overall client products

Roles and responsibilities

  • – Provide outstanding customer service.
  • – Understanding the electrical wiring drawing and Perform wiring modification.
  • – Comply with Safety policies, practices, and procedures.
  • – Understanding of electrical risks and Risk mitigation
  • – Understand scope of work, respect time allocation to perform job and ensure full traceability (timesheet, change order etc.)
  • – Preparation of ferrule by using M1PRO
  • – Install missing/ shortage materials and complete wiring correction / modification in co-ordination with Site Leader. Verify the modification before testing engineer and fluency in English.
  • – Provide safe custody of documentation, drawings, and calibration record.
  • – Support the T&C engineer/Site Leader during the progress of work.
  • – Safe Handling of test equipment and tools.
